Following graduation from Bedford High School in 1976, Todd attended Juniata College where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1980. He has been active with the Agency since 1980 when he joined the staff of Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. then under the ownership of his father, Donald Roadman. Todd purchased the Agency in 1993 becoming the President, which is the position he holds today.

Todd furthered his credentials by earning his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation in 1985. He continues to attend educational seminars to maintain his expertise.

While Todd is very active in managing the Agency, he still finds time to volunteer for many local organizations. He is an Assistant Coach for the Bedford High School Wrestling Team, Board Member of the Bedford County Planning Commission, member of the board of directors for the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Executive Committee, immediate past Chair of the Bedford County Development Association (BCDA), past President of Bedford Sunrise Rotary Club, Board Member of the Community-School Excellence Council, UPMC Bedford Memorial Hospital Board, and Chamber foundation Board member.

Mary Grace’s insurance career began one week after she graduated from Chestnut Ridge High School in 1971. Under the stern guidance of Don Roadman and Bill Reed (whose agency Don bought one month after she started), she learned rapidly to handle the receptionist and customer service duties in the small four-person office. As the agency grew and employees were added, her job duties expanded until it became necessary to structure the workload by departments. Today her skills are used to handle the largest complex accounts in the office. In addition, she manages the agency’s computer system, does the accounting, payroll, and all bonds. Her position as Office Manager also keeps her very busy making sure the day-to-day operations run smoothly, as well as planning and coordinating new projects and upgrades.

Her insurance education consists of numerous insurance company seminars and she currently holds an Agent’s Property and Casualty License. In 1990 she completed the five one-day sessions to attain the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. In 2001, she earned the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, which also consists of five parts of rigorous instruction. Annual updates are required to maintain these designations.

Outside the office, Mary Grace is an active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church where she serves as a Eucharistic Minister. She is also on the Parish Council and is involved in many Church fundraisers. Any spare time is usually spent reading, gardening and walking. She is a 2006 Leadership Bedford County graduate and also serves on the Bedford County Board of the American Cancer Society.

Candy started with Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. in July of 1986 after graduating from High School. She obtained her Property and Casualty License in October of 1988.

Candy worked as a Customer Service Representative in the Commercial Lines Department for 10 years and controlled the marketing/underwriting department for 8 years.

She was promoted in 2005 to the position of Sales Manager, where she manages the entire sales staff as well as continuing as the marketing/underwriting specialist. Candy earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2004.

Dan was born and raised in Bedford County. Upon completion of High School he attended Methodist College in Fayetteville, NC. Dan earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in May of 1994 and returned to Bedford to assist his father in the family Law Practice. After three years as his father's Legal Assistant, he joined DeArment Insurance Associates as a Commercial Producer.

In November of 1998, Dan joined the team at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. where he specializes in Commercial and Personal Lines Insurance. Dan successfully completed his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation program in the summer of 2003 and now joins his peers as a Certified Insurance Counselor. He is a 2004 graduate of Leadership Bedford County.

April E. Ressler, CIC, CWCA
Commercial Account Manager

April is a 1992 graduate of Bedford High School. She attended Shippensburg University where she graduated summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Science Degree. She has been working with Reed, Wertz & Roadman Inc. since 1997, where she specializes in sales and service for Commercial Property & Casualty accounts. She is licensed in the Property, Casualty, Life, Accident & Health lines. In 2001, she completed her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Designation. She is currently furthering her education by participating in the Certified Risk Managers program.

April is active with the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and is a 2001 graduate of the Leadership Bedford County Program. April resides in Bedford with her husband and son.

Tim joined Reed, Wertz & Roadman in 2003 as a Commercial Lines Sales Representative and obtained his Property and Casualty License. He moved into the position of Account Manager in 2005.

Among his many achievements, Tim served for 5 years in the U.S. Air Force, serving our country during Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield. He also serves on the board of the American Cancer Society, a past 3-time chairman of the Relay for Life, treasurer for the Board of Directors of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Bedford, Somerset and Cambria Counties, Summit Quest Fitness Center Board member, and a 2002 graduate of Leadership Bedford County. Tim is also active in the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce and is a Red Carpet Ambassador.

Nancy joined the staff at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc in December of 2007. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and furthered her education by receiving her Masters of Science in Nursing at West Virginia University where she became a Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She now lives in Bedford with her husband and 3 children. After working over 13 years at UPMC Bedford Memorial in Family Practice and Occupational Health, Nancy decided to expand her knowledge by obtaining her Property & Casualty License in 2007. She earned the designation of Certified Workers Compensation Advisor (CWCA) in April 2008 and will pursue other continuing education courses.

Nancy is very involved in the community holding the positions of Secretary of the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce Board, President of the Chamber Foundation Board, President of Personal Solutions Inc. Board, President of Heartland Hall, Vice President Bedford Springs Hotel Historical Board, Reception Committee & Honorary Board Member of Bedford County Arts Council, Graduate of Leadership Bedford County, Treasurer of Bedford County Redevelopment Authority, Member of Bedford Area Schools Drug Free Committee and Technology Committee, Bedford County Regional Education Foundation Board Member, AYSO Soccer Coach, Bedford County Christian Church Board Member and Sunday School Teacher. She enjoys running, golfing, gardening, and playing the piano and violin.

Shaun started his career at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. as an intern in the summer of 2007. He was hired full-time upon graduation from Penn State University in January 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business to take the position of Assistant Sales & Marketing Director. He earned his Certified Worker’s Compensation Advisor (CWCA) designation in April 2008 and obtained his Property and Casualty License in June 2008.

Shaun is a 2003 graduate of Bedford High School and has resided in Bedford all his life. Shaun’s passion outside the insurance world is following local and national sports. He is also actively involved in the community.

Brenda began her insurance career in 1983 when she accepted a position in the accounts receivable department at the Rockwood Insurance Company (now renamed the Rockwood Casualty Ins. Co.) in Rockwood, PA. The company employed her for 2 ½ years. In 1985, she became a licensed property/casualty agent for the Mosholder Insurance Agency in Confluence, PA. She furthered her credentials in 1993 by obtaining her life and health insurance license and began selling those products for the agency. In 1995, she successfully completed her Property/Casualty Broker’s Exam.

1997 brought Brenda marriage and relocation from Somerset County to Bedford County. There she accepted a position as a Commercial Lines Account Representative at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. She completed her CISR (Certified Insurance Service Rep.) designation in 1998 and her Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation in 2006.

Brenda is a member of Tri County NAIW (National Assoc. of Insurance Women International). She has held a wide range of offices within that organization. In 2001, Brenda secured her CPIW (Certified Professional Insurance Woman) designation through NAIW. In 2005, she earned her CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation. Brenda is also active in the Bedford County Chamber of Commerce. She is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Bedford County.

Michele joined Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. in January 2002 as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative. She has over 10 years experience in the insurance industry and has held her Property and Casualty License since 1996.

She graduated from Lee College and has also worked in the banking and trucking industries. Michele began her insurance career on the company level at Everett Cash Mutual as an Underwriting Service Coordinator, then went on to work as an agent at Derry Insurance Agency, working primarily with Personal Lines. She earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation in 2004 and Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation in 2006.

Donna joined Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative in September of 2004. In September of 2005, she earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation and in 2006, earned the Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation. She began her insurance career in April of 2001 at the Bucher-Wallace Insurance Agency where she worked as a Customer Service Representative. In July of 2002, she completed a self-study program and obtained her Property and Casualty License. She is currently working towards getting her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation.

She moved to Pennsylvania from Dallas, Texas in March of 2001 after working over 13 years as a Sr. Technical Specialist at a computer software company with job duties ranging from programming to tax application development to customer service. She and her husband relocated to the Pennsylvania area to be near his family in Everett.

She is a 1980 graduate of Winnacunnet High School in Hampton, NH where she was born and raised. She graduated with an A.S. in Accounting in 1982 from Northern Essex Community College in Haverhill, MA before moving to Texas in 1982. She currently resides in Bedford. She is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Bedford County.

Johnna Gorsuch, CISR
Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative
Johnna began working at Everett Cash Mutual Insurance Company in July of 1988 after graduating from high school. She started in the mail room and later moved into the Commercial Lines Department as a Commercial Underwriter. She obtained her Property and Casualty License in January of 1996. Johnna joined Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. in August of 1996 as a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, which is the position she holds today. In 2001, Johnna earned her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Rita began her career at Reed, Wertz & Roadman while doing her internship for Compu-Tech Learning Center in August 2004. Completing her internship she was hired full time in September 2004. She obtained her Property and Casualty license in July 2006 and now works in the Commercial Lines Department. She obtained her Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation in March 2007.

Jamie is a 2002 graduate of Everett Area High School. She attended Shenandoah University where she graduated summa cum laude earning a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in management. She joined the staff of Reed, Wertz and Roadman, Inc. in July 2007 in the Commercial Lines Department. She completed her Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in August 2007, obtained her Property & Casualty License in October 2007 and her Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation in March of 2008.

Jamie resides in Everett with her husband, Adam and her son Ryan.

Krista Beegle, CLCS, CWCS

Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative

Krista is a 2003 graduate of Berlin Brothersvalley High School and attended classes at Allegany College of Maryland for Human Services. She moved to Bedford in 2004 and married in May 2007. In June of 2007 she joined the staff at Reed, Wertz, and Roadman, Inc. in the Commercial Lines Department. She completed her Commercial Lines Coverage Specialist (CLCS) designation in August 2007, her Property and Casualty License in November 2007 and her Certified WorkComp Specialist (CWCS) designation in March of 2008.

Margaret L. Clapper,
Commercial Lines Assistant
Margaret is a Commercial Lines Assistant for Reed, Wertz & Roadman. Margaret worked as a Personal Lines CSR for RWR from 1981 to 1994. After being a full time stay-at home mother for ten years, she returned to RWR in 2004 working part-time.

Doris Brady began her career in insurance in 1986 as manager of a Service Office for USF&G Insurance Company in Western Maryland. After the office closed due to company restructuring, she decided to stay in the insurance field, getting her Agent's License in 1994 and working as a Customer Service Representative in a large agency in Cumberland, MD.

She began working for Reed, Wertz & Roadman in 1996 as Operations Manager where she is able to use her supervisory training, organizational and sales skills to improve and build the Personal Lines Department. In addition, she handles all the company advertising and works on various projects throughout the year.

Doris has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Management) from Frostburg State University. She also has the EIS and CISR designations in the insurance field, and is a member of the Memorial Hospital Auxiliary in her community. She still lives in Maryland, traveling a total of 75 miles each day to work at Reed, Wertz & Roadman. In her spare time, she enjoys golf, tennis, dancing and her 2 grandchildren.

Scott is a graduate of Bedford High School class of 1987. He then went on to receive a BS degree in Business Administration from Lebanon Valley College in 1991. Scott is a life-long resident of Bedford County and is very active in the community. He is also a 2005 graduate of Leadership Bedford County.

He is currently the head baseball coach at Bedford High School and is a member of the Sunrise Rotary Club. He resides in Bedford with his wife Kelly and son Reece.

Holly started working with Reed, Wertz & Roadman in October of 1989 as the receptionist. In February of 1992 she obtained her Property and Casualty License. She moved from Receptionist to a Personal Lines CSR in May of 1992. In July of 1995 Holly successfully passed five exams to secure her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation. She has been employed with Reed, Wertz & Roadman for 17 years and continues to work as a Personal Lines CSR.

Lori started as a receptionist in 1997. She received her Property & Casualty license in July of 1999. She was promoted to the position of Customer Service Representative for Personal Lines in November of 1999. In the spring of 2003, Lori successfully completed her Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation.

Diane is a graduate from Chestnut Ridge High School. She is currently working as the Receptionist for the Agency and fills the position well. Diane is very friendly and helpful to all Customers and our Staff.

Jeremy graduated from Bedford High School in 1995. He attended Charleston Southern University where he studied Business Information Systems and played Baseball. He graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor’s Degree. While there, he also played two years of Division I Baseball. He was the two-time academic all-conference first baseman and after his sophomore year was named to the Big South all-conference team.

Upon his graduation in May, he joined the team at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. where he works in the Life, Health and Financial Services Department. He is a 2002 graduate of Leadership Bedford County.

Johanna joined the staff at Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc. in August of 2006. Prior to joining Reed, Wertz & Roadman, Inc., she was an Account Manager with HealthAmerica/HealthAssurance having earned the distinction of Account Representative of the Year in 2005. Johanna is a graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy and Administration.
